Royce has been animating professionally in film, television, and commercial projects for the past ten years in New York and California.

After graduating the Rhode Island School of Design in 1999, He got his professional start as a Stop-Motion animator on MTV’s Celebrity Deathmatch. When the show ended in 2002, Royce spent some time freelancing in New York City before taking a full time position as a character animator for Blue Sky Studios where he worked on films including "Ice Age: The Meltdown", "Robots", and "Horton Hears a Who". In 2007 He decided to return to the freelance world and since then, he has been animating on a per-project basis. His most recent work can be seen in Pixar's short film "Partly Cloudy" screening in theaters with their most recent feature "UP".

Royce currently lives in Brooklyn, NY but will be moving to San Francisco, CA in the fall to animate full time for Pixar.
